What is included in your tours?
As a rule of thumb our tours include complimentary pick up and drop off for all major hotels and guest houses in Reykjavik, round trip transportation and professional tour guides.
Do I have to use passport on your tours?
There is no need for passport on all our tours.
What should I take with me on the tour?
You only need to take appropriate clothing and good walking shoes.
What languages are spoken in the tours?
Our day tours and excursions are by default guided in English but other languages can be provided upon request.
How will I receive my tickets?
When you have completed the booking process there will be an electronic ticket on your screen that you can print out. You will also receive an e-mail with a voucher that you can print out.
How does pick up and drop off work?
We ask our passengers to be ready for pickup in front of hotel or house 30 minutes before scheduled departure of their tour. Your electronic tickets and e-mail voucher contain detailed information on pick up and drop off.
Where are the pick up locations?
All hotels and larger guest houses in the greater Reykjavik area including Kópavogur and Hafnarfjörður.
When is my pick-up and drop-off?
Pick up for tours is 30 minutes before scheduled departure of the tour, except for whale watching tours where pick up starts 1 hour before tour departure. We ask our passengers to be ready for pickup in front of hotel or house 30 minutes before scheduled departure of their tour.
Returning from tours passengers are dropped off at the hotels or guest houses they were collected from, or at the nearest possible location.
Is smoking allowed on board the coaches?
Smoking on board our coaches is strictly prohibited.
What should I wear on the tours?
Weather in Iceland is notoriously unpredictable. For tours in Iceland during summer, bringing a light rain jacket or a soft shell is in most cases enough protection. For the winter season, warm jacket, good walking shoes, cap or a hat and gloves are essential accessories to combat cold weather. Layering your outfit is the best way to tackle sudden changes in weather.
Are meals included in the tours?
Meals are not included in tours unless specifically stated in tour description, but stops are frequent where passengers can buy light meals and refreshments. Consumption of food or beverages on board our coaches is prohibited.
Why does the currency change at checkout when booking?
Though you can select to view your tours in your native currency for ease of reference, the final transaction will be processed in EUR. This will display in the “Total cost” section on your purchase page. The approximate currency conversion shown is based on current information from multiple public sources. Please be aware that the actual conversion rates utilised by your card issuer or bank may vary from these public sources.
I want to cancel my booking. What do I do?
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received less than 36 hours prior to tour departure will be charged in full.
