OUR REVIEWS FOR THE TOUR
Just returned from nearly 2 weeks in Iceland with my 17-year-old grandson. I used Hopferdir for so many things, from airport transfers to private tours around Iceland. This company is always open and is always ready to see that you see their Iceland in the best way possible. I would recommend them for any travel need in Iceland. Nothing like having a local show off their wonderful country! And a plus is having WiFi in all of their vehicles.
We took about 3 tours with Hopferdir. Guðjón, our driver came guide for all tour was just fantastic. The 2 private tours were the Snaefellsness Peninsula and Blue Lagoon/Reykjanes Peninsula.
Guðjón was very knowledgeable about the area and we learnt a lot about the places, Icelandic culture, people, politics, history etc. from him. He was very considerate and made sure that my parents were comfortable on the long drives. He also took us to a grocery store on the first day which I felt was extremely kind of him. And he even made many unscheduled stops on the minibus tour which felt like private.
Lilja, at the Hopferdir office, helped me with all the tour info and was very prompt and helpful. I highly recommend this company for all your tours in Iceland. Its totally worth the money spent.Ektej
